We take the privacy of children very seriously and do our utmost best to protect it. Onni & Ilona does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information about children through our Site or Applications. Furthermore, we do NOT use any third-party analytics services in our Applications that collect information on app usage.

About collected information
“Personally Identifiable Information” means information that allows a person to identify or contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. “Anonymous Information” means information which is unassociated and unconnected with personal information and does not allow the identification of individual persons.

What we collect
In short, on the Site we collect information you directly provide us as well as anonymous information in the form of web analytics, which helps us to improve our services. In our Applications we collect no information at all.

Information you provide us
On the Site, we collect and store personally identifiable information you as the user directly and knowingly give us. We may, for example, collect your contact information, primarily an email address, if you contact us seeking technical assistance, so that we are able to reply. Additionally your email address may be collected in order to send you information about our products and services, in the case that you have directly elected to receive such information for example in the form of a newsletter.

As we do not provide any services that would involve user accounts or signing in, we will never collect user information having to do with any registration process, including telephone numbers, payment information or third-party account credentials. We will also never ask for, collect or store any personally identifiable information about your child, such as their name, age or gender.

Anonymous information
On the Site, we automatically log information about you and your device. When you visit the Site, we log your operating system type, browser type, pages you viewed, the length of stay and other information about your actions and use of our Site.

Cookies
On the Site, we may log information using cookies, which are small data files stored on your device by the web browser, as alphanumeric identifiers. Cookies assist us in improving our Site and making our services better. We use cookies to see which areas of the Site users visit and how many times. No cookies store personally identifiable information or children’s personal information. Most browsers provide an optioin to turn off the cookie feature, which either prevents accepting any new cookies altogether or prompting the acceptance of each new cookie individually. If third-party links appear on our Site, those third-party sites may use cookies, which no longer fall under the coverage of this privacy policy.

Third-party analytics
To measure our Site usage, we use Google Analytics, which is a third-party web analytics software. Google Analytics, in collecting statistical information about how you interact with our Site, may utilize cookies to store, for example, which pages you visited, a time stamp of your visit or your Internet Protocol (IP) address. We do not collect any personally identifiable information through Google Analytics or any other third-party service.

In our Applications, we do not use any third-party analytics services.

Tracking
Onni & Ilona does not track you or any of our users. To expound, Onni & Ilona does not collect any personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third-party services. Furthermore, no attempt is made to interfere with our users taking steps to limit tracking on their own.

In Applications
Onni & Ilona does not carry out any collecting of information in our Applications, neither personally identifiable nor anonymous.

Companies providing application platforms where our Applications are hosted, such as Apple Inc., retain their own native analytics systems that fall outside of the coverage of this privacy policy.

In the case of contact requests, we only store personal information for the duration that it takes us to finalize the initiated communication. In the case of the mailing list, we retain the necessary personal information you have provided until we either decide to remove it or you decide to opt out.

Opting out from receiving email communications pertaining to the mailing list may be done at any time. To opt out, please follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in the emails.

Security of data
Onni & Ilona uses generally accepted measures to ensure security of the information that we collect and we require the same agreement from third-party services we work with. We limit access to personal information only to those persons who need it to complete their work.

Security of your data is of the utmost importance to us. However, no transmission of data over the Internet or electronic storage is fully secure. Although Onni & Ilona does its best to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized use, hardware or software failure and other factors have the potential to compromise the security of personal information.

Links to other sites
Onni & Ilona’s Site or Applications may at our discretion contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s website. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each site you visit individually. We assume no responsibility for content, policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Any external links in our Applications are always situated in areas protected by a parental gate. A parental gate is a logic mechanism that seeks to make sure no children are able to access areas meant for adults. Our Applications also do not contain any advertising, outside of promotion of our own products.

Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.

Onni & Ilona adheres to COPPA tenets as we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information or anonymous information from children under 13 years of age. The only personally identifiable information we collect is provided by users of our Site, which is meant for adult use only.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Onni & Ilona will take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your personal data. If you wish to be informed of what personal data Onni & Ilona holds on you or want it to be removed, please contact us following the contact information at the bottom of this page.

We may process you personal data in the following ways:

+ With your explicit and timely consent.
+ To comply with laws or respond to lawful requests and legal process.

CAN SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them and spells out tough penalties for violations. Onni & Ilona may collect your email address in order to respond to contact requests or to allow you to register for a mailing list.

We are in accordance with the CAN SPAM Act in the following ways:

+ We will not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
+ We identify any promotional email in a reasonable manner.
+ We will include the physical address of our business.
+ We monitor any third-party marketing services for compliance.
+ We honor unsubscribe requests quickly.
+ We allow users to unsubscribe by using a link at the bottom of each email.

Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

We will take responsive action, should a data breach occur, in the following ways:

+ We will notify users via email.
+ We will notify users via a Site notification within 7 business days.

We also agree to the individual redress principle, which requires that individuals have a right to pursue legally enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or a government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law's reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.
